Hot Air Balloon

Today at work I saw a huge hot air balloon it flew right over my head and it was completely silent. The only thing I could hear was the two people in the basket talking and an occasional blast of flame from the propane torch they had to heat the balloon. I was a very cool experience.

I am raking bunkers in the rain. Thats no fun, I thought they looked pretty good though

killdeer

I saw a baby killdeer running around in the fairway at work the other day. I didn't get a chance to get a picture of the mother but these two top pictures are ones I found online. I took the last picture on my phone. The mother will use whats called a "broken wing" tactic to lure you away from her babies or the nest.

New Fans

We added a few new fans to help with the summer heat on the greens. I had to dig all the trenches for the wiring by hand.

This is a new waterfall on hole #4 it looks really great and it is a big improvmentfrom what used to be there.

Funny stuff

I thought this was a funny sticker. I was driving the skid steer today and it had this sticker "Avoid death". I thought to myself hmm well I was going to kill my self but this sticker said to avoid death so I guess I cant do that anymore.

One of like 30 semi loads of mulch we have spread since February. Only three or four more to go.
